Age is such a fickle thing that many take for granted. The creatures here in the realm of The Damned are no exception to this rule. Like other things that changed when The Darkness came, age was one of these. The creatures that were left untouched by it's corruption go about their lives living and aging as their ancestors had before the world was made anew. Now, on the other hand you have the corrupted creatures. For these creatures, because of the changes that their bodies succumbed to, they do not age like any other. These beings, unless killed by disease, or another creature, can live through many centuries. Some have even been heard of living for a good bit of millenniums.
For corrupted beasts the aging process is much longer than that of creatures who remain untouched. As well, any creature that is of mixed blood will age at half the speed as their fully corrupted kin. I.e Non corrupted beasts age normally, mixed blood beasts age slower than normal beasts, but faster than fully corrupted ones, and fully corrupted beasts age the slowest out of all creatures.
Fully corrupted beasts gain a normal animal year whenever they reach 500 years of their life. So basically, if a corrupted creature is a thousand years old, that creature would be considered two years old, and so on and so forth.
Now for mixed blood creatures they gain a normal animal year whenever they reach 250 years of their life. So, what that means is that for mixed blood creatures by the time they reach 500 years, they will be the equivalent of 2 years old.
